Apollo Pinot Noir
Wine
Murdoch Hill Apollo Pinot Noir, made in tiny quantities, blends the best handpicked parcels of fruit from selected vineyards in the Piccadilly Valley.
Nearly half the fruit is kept as whole bunches for wild yeast fermentation. Once pressed, the wine matures for 10 months in a mix of Austrian and French oak, a significant proportion new.
The final blend is determined through strict barrel selection, ensuring only the finest parcels make it into the finished wine.
Ruby red, Murdoch Hill Apollo Pinot Noir has intense red fruit flavours its fine tannins providing length. Cellaring potential is seven years.
